A new space to discover!

Since June 2, the permanent space dedicated to the art of South-East Asia is to be discovered in a brand new scenography, for a better reading of works from the collection of Adhémard Leclerc, French administrator in Indochina between 1886 and 1911 and Orientalist field considered one of the pioneers of extreme-oriental studies.After his return to Alençon, Adhémard Leclerc donated his important collection to the Alençon Museum.A thematic presentation highlights the testimonies, for some rare or unique, of the material culture of Cambodia at the end of the 19th century.
